Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking Finish Processors, Level 2 for its Linthicum, MD location.

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Orchestrate, perform, and support the complex activities involved in the finishing operations and processes required to accomplish multi-task, labor-intensive work assignments through intricate and detailed planning and work instructions for large, oversized, and multi-component systems that is required for delivery to Test and external customers.

  • Set up and operate bonding, painting, engraving, plating, and silk-screening equipment to perform finishing operations on component parts, assemblies, printed circuit boards, chassis, and the like. 

  • Assist in the development of spray painting and bonding techniques and make layouts, develop, and make frames and screens for silk screens. 

  • Perform necessary operations to produce test panels and coupons for verifying and adjusting machines and process.

This is an IUE Union represented position.

This position is for 2nd Shift.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or recognized equivalent.

Experience Requirement:

  • The Level 2 position will require a minimum of 3 years of relevant and verifiable experience in the field, which can be acquired either by time in the Level 1 occupation or by equivalent external experience. 

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain area skills and safety certifications.

  • Must be able to pass a structured interview and demonstrate the ability to perform all essential functions of the position.



Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
