Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Sr Principal Test Conductor to assume duties as data center and distribution networks lead. This position will be located at Beale AFB, CA.

The selected candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with high expectations and adapt to change.  The candidate must exhibit strong leadership characteristics in coordinating with multiple teams and managing tasks. The role will be a hybrid of significantly diverse assignments in a collaborative/team setting across all levels. The candidate must be able to develop and execute data center infrastructure and distribution systems design, hardware, software and fiber optics installation and integration, and acceptance test procedures.  Candidate should be skilled in designing, developing and executing data center builds and sustainment throughout the contract lifecycle. Candidate will work with software developers and other engineers, as needed, to help diagnose and identify the root cause of problems found during software installation, integration, acceptance test, and operational events. Candidate will submit detailed problem reports for errors found. Candidate must be able to collaborate closely with system engineers, hardware designers, integration/test engineers, and program leadership. Candidate should be able to review, update, or develop engineering design drawings specific for the test environment.

Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include work outside of normally scheduled hours, extended shifts, holidays, and weekends as needed.

Availability to support travel up to 25%.  Offsite projects may occasionally require travel beyond 25%.

Basic Qualifications:

o    A Bachelor's Degree with 9 years of relevant experience; OR a Master's Degree with 7 years of experience; OR 13 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

o    Technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware interconnection and interfacing and testing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.
o    Candidates MUST have a CURRENT DOD Top Secret level security clearance (or higher) with an original adjudication, or a periodic reinvestigation date completed within the last 6 years to be considered.
o    Must have the ability to obtain, and maintain a Special Access Programs (SAP/SAR) level clearance as a condition of continued employment. This SAP/SAR must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
o    Must be able to maintain IAT Security Certification (Security +)

o    Must have a valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:
o    Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management.
o    Proven ability to brief technical presentations to stakeholders.
o    Demonstrated technical writing skills.
o    Experience operating and troubleshooting information systems.
o    Experience designing, developing, building, testing and maintaining network and computing infrastructure

o   Experience installing and testing power delivery systems, secure fiber networks, data center rack fiber layouts, trunk design and management.
o    Experience identifying systems anomalies and troubleshooting (network/custom applications/COTS software/server infrastructure).



Salary Range: $109,100 USD - $163,700 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
