Northrop Grumman’s Corporate Office is seeking a Corporate Lead Executive (CLE) for Air Force Global Strike Command who will represent all sectors and all business activities within those sectors, while also serving as a secondary liaison to USSTRATCOM. The CLE responds to and represents Northrop Grumman to our customer base, our peer industry partners/competitors, and to all other smaller business leaders in Louisiana Air Force and Northrop Grumman locations.  This position will be located in Bossier City, LA, and the selected candidate will be required to be on-site full-time.  Primary responsibilities for this role will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Identify and support new business opportunities with customers and potential teammates.

  • Participate in weekly Customer Relations Team (CRT) meetings, execute management activities, and manage assigned budgets.

  • Act as the NGC face to the community and work with other community leaders in support of economic development activities as well as local community service and philanthropy activities.

  • Maintain direct liaison with Air Force Global Strike Command and secondary liaison with USSTRATCOM.

  • Strategy planning to capture significant business share for NGC. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field with a minimum of 15 years of DoD service and associated experience including senior level leadership responsibilities and management experience, with at least 10 years focused on resource management (PPBE, JCIDS, GFMAP) and operational command (Wing, NAF) experience in bomber and/or intercontinental ballistic missile operations.

  • Senior officer/executive experience with Joint Staff/Air Staff/Air Force Global Strike Command.

  • A high level of confidence, integrity, and hands on approach to problem solving as well as a professional executive presence for interacting with and guiding DoD decision makers and senior executives, internal and external to the company.

  • DoD Secret security clearance with an original adjudication or periodic reinvestigation date within the past 5 years.

  • The selected candidate will be required to obtain a DoD Top Secret security clearance within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company and also by program and/or customer requirements; maintaining the required security clearance will be a condition of continued employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Strategy or relevant discipline, and/or War College graduate.

  • Current or former military officer, or senior level government official, with experience supporting military programs and customers.

  • Previous/current Nuclear-certified Air Force qualifications (bomber or ICBM).

Salary Range: $176,900 USD - $265,300 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
