The Project Manager will support the Contractor Logistics Support contract (CLS). This position is for SBIRS Hardware Depot/CLS.

This position requires a self-motivated, innovative and pro-active individual, willing to take responsibility for project planning through completion.

Responsibilities include defining, planning, performing, monitoring, controlling, and completing a variety of project tasks simultaneously.

Analysis of hardware Problem Reports, development of technical solutions, creation and execution of project schedules and Integration & Checkout plans, coordination of project buy-in and approval with multiple groups, installation of equipment, and updating of engineering records

The Project Manager coordinates detailed project plans across multiple groups, develops comprehensive project plans across multiple hardware and software groups, coordinates project team meetings, customer interaction, attends technical interchange meetings, coordinates design review presentations, and collects and coordinates project status data for inclusion in Program Management Reviews.

Provide hardware expertise to the program in areas of cryptographic hardware and key material, installation and maintenance of multiple hardware platforms such as Linux, AIX, RTLogic, ThinkLogical KVMs, and GPS time distribution

Provide direction on activities in accordance with organizational goals, motivate team members and facilitate team meetings, identify and analyze problems, plans, directs tasks and provide solutions.

This position also requires the ability to manage and provide status on multiple projects concurrently.

Candidate must be customer-service oriented, with an ability to develop and maintain relationships with site support personnel.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned commensurate with performance or due to business needs.

Occasional travel to Aurora, Colorado Springs, Azusa, and possible International travel is required.

Occasional overtime and off-hours support is required.

Basic Qualifications:

- 6 Years with Bachelors of Art or Science degree; 4 Years with Masters; 8 years with an Associates; or 10 years of relevant experience in a lieu of a degree will be considered.

- Active Top Secret clearance and a current background investigation (within last 5 years)

- Must have demonstrated interpersonal skills working with senior Program Management

- Experience in project management including the ability to prioritize tasks, provide accurate project status, and make recommendations for timely project completion.

 - Must be proficient with the following Microsoft Office Suite products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project

- Basic Understanding of Control Account Management (CAM)/Earned Value Management (EVM).

- Ability to work as a member of a team in a dynamic environment.

- Experience with hardware installation and troubleshooting. Including computer-room rack installations; fiber and copper cable installation and repair; troubleshooting/repair/replacement of hard drives, power supplies, mother-boards, memory, peripheral circuit boards and optical drives.

Preferred Qualification:

- Ability to develop project schedules and other technical documentation

- Experience supporting prior Operations and Maintenance Modifications or Studies

- Extensive SBIRS, JTAGS, DSP, or S2E2 customer and Lockheed Martin contacts

- EVM/CAM training preferred

- Adhere to project schedules and update/create technical documentation for hardware projects using Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Office Suite and/or AutoCAD design

Salary $83,800 - $125,800


Salary Range: $83,800 USD - $125,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
