Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Sector has an opening for a Business Development Operations Analyst (Level 2 or 3) to support in one of the following locations:
- Falls Church, VA
- Redondo Beach, CA
- Palmdale, CA
- Melbourne, FL
This position supports Sector Strategy & Growth team in a variety of ways including pipeline analysis, tools training and support, maintaining metrics, and other operations & integrations project management duties.
- Act as an Aeronautics Sector administrator and functional subject matter expert for tools such as Salesforce, Tableau, SharePoint, and others
- Perform data sources migration, development, reporting and publication
- Support development of the Salesforce enterprise roadmap in support of Sector priorities, balanced with enterprise needs
- Support and provide leadership to the enterprise Salesforce Product Committee and to the Aeronautics Sector Salesforce Working Group
- Designing/tailoring, and delivering Salesforce and other tool training in various formats (JIT, virtual, in-person, recorded), mentoring new users and team leads as needed
- Coordinate the development of functional business requirements and develop user stories for Agile development spins, working closely with corporate, sector, division, and product owners
- Determining S&G’s reporting requirements, ensuring they are accurately captured, defined, and delivered within planned milestones
- Develop dashboards, reports, charts, pivot table layouts, dashboard prompts to showcase the capabilities of Salesforce, Tableau, and other applications
- Preparing presentation slides and conducted demos with project stake holders
- Liaising with corporate and sector Digital Transformation teams as applicable
- Provide technical support to users of Salesforce in conjunction with IT Services and enterprise team support
- Support development of executive-level presentations.
- Support meeting and event management, to include trade shows and conferences, as needed
- Perform other Operations & Integration duties upon request of the Director of S&G Business Development Operations.
- Ability to assign and track course completion in Northrop Grumman Learning Exchange (Lx)
This position may be filled at a Level 2 or Level 3 based on the qualifications outlined below.
Basic Qualifications:
Business Development Operations Analyst (Level 2)
- Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree
- Thorough working knowledge of Salesforce
- Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
- Ability to travel up to 10% of time
Principal Business Development Operations Analyst (Level 3)
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree and 3 years of relevant experience
- Thorough working knowledge of Salesforce
- Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
- Ability to travel up to 10% of time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SharePoint and Tableau
- Knowledge of aerospace and defense industry
- Knowledge of the Northrop Grumman Business Acquisition Process (BAP)
