Northrop Grumman Australia partners with the Royal Australian Air Force to provide through-life-support for its fleet of 10 C-27J Spartan Airlifter aircrafts. The C-27J complements the Australian Defence Force’s existing Air Mobility fleet and provides airlift of people, equipment and supplies in Australia and our region.
Your Role:
In this role, you'll be responsible for various tasks including account reconciliation, journal preparations, and data consolidation. Your insights will be crucial in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, allowing us to analyse financial results and variances effectively. Additionally, you'll oversee Time Sheet Reporting and Approval processes, ensuring alignment with Labour Hire Time records and Purchase Order Plans.
Customer invoicing will also be a key aspect of your role, ensuring that our billing processes remain accurate and timely. Your attention to detail will shine as you review, follow up, and address un-invoiced Goods Received records, ensuring financial precision across the board.
As part of our team, you'll play a role in the monthly review and analysis of Profit & Loss (P&L) and balance sheet accounts. This process will provide insights into main cost drivers, contributing to strategic decision-making and financial planning. Speaking of which, you'll also support annual and long-range financial planning initiatives, using your analytical skills to forecast effectively.
Managing Accounts Payable (AP) invoices and queries will also be under your purview, as you review and code invoices while ensuring streamlined processes. Your flexibility will be valuable as you take on additional tasks as needed to support the Program, adapting to changes and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet KPI and performance measure requirements.
About You:
We're looking for candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Your proven experience in financial analysis, account reconciliation, and journal preparation will make you a strong fit for this role. Proficiency in MS Excel and financial software is essential, and your exceptional attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining data accuracy.
This role will require an AGSVA clearance, so you must be eligible to obtain if you do not already have one.
