We are looking for you to join our team as a Principal Financial Analyst based out of Baltimore, MD. This position offers the 9/80 schedule.
What You’ll Get to Do:
The Principal Financial Analyst will support activity within the Sector Reporting and Planning team reporting to the Manager of Sector Reporting and Director of Sector Planning and Reporting.
The Principal Financial Analyst will be responsible for the consolidation and analysis of monthly financial reporting requirements and deliverables.
Additional roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Consolidation/analysis of various monthly/ quarterly reporting requirements
- Various month-end entries and supporting files
- Liaison with division planning teams to obtain necessary information to explain fluxes or to answer questions
- Present deliverables and respond to questions from Corporate and all levels of Management
- SOX activities
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of related experience, or Master’s Degree as described with 3 years of related professional experience
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience with SAP
- The ability to travel domestically 10% of the time.
- US Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience with Cognos, Hyperion Planning, Access databases
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to interface with multiple disciplines and varying levels of management
- Strong understanding of government accounting
