Northrop Grumman Air Dominance Division is seeking a Cost Manager (S02) who will be an integral part of the Business Management leadership team in Clearfield, Utah. This leader will be responsible for the Cost and Schedule Management organization with deep integration with the Business Management organization. This role is fast paced and demanding. It will require a high level of work ethic and strategic adaptability.
This role will be responsible for the organization execution. They are accountable for Program performance reporting, analysis, and compliance.
They will partner with and support the Program leadership team, Business Segments, Integrated Product Teams, and control account managers. Responsibilities include Earned Value Management (EVM) deliverables, support to Financial Planning and Reporting, Process Improvements, and Proposal Support. This position is also accountable for EAC and Risk/Opportunity Assessment, Program Baselines and Integrated Baseline Reviews, Auditory Compliance and Surveillances, as well as Division and Sector leadership ad hoc activities. They will support the Senior Cost Manager and partner with Business leadership and manage a group of Program Cost and Schedule Managers and Analysts.
This role is also responsible for functional leadership. Develop employee skills and evaluate employee performance on assigned responsibilities, including: EVMS implementation and analysis; support and guidance to PMs and CAMs; analysis and preparation of cost and schedule reports; development, analysis, and review of EACs; variance analysis research and reporting. Focus team on achieving uncompromising quality in all products and services, accountability, and team performance and ensure team fully understands their roles and impact on financial results.
Basic Qualifications:
- Strong background and experience in leading teams or an organization directly or indirectly
- 7 years of Finance/Cost/Business Management work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 5 years with a Masters
- Extensive knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and Compliance
- Ability to obtain Interim or Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of EVMS Software (i.e. MPM or Cobra), Microsoft Office Suite and Accounting principles
- Experience interfacing with customers or government audit agencies such as DCMA and DCAA, as well as Internal Audit
