Northrop Grumman Defense Sector is seeking a Principal Business Management Analyst (Level 3) to join its team of qualified, and diverse professionals. This position will be located in Warner Robins, Ga. This position is onsite and not remote.
The successful applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Defense Sector and will support the AAQ-24 Repair contract.
In this role, the selected candidate will:
The Business Management Analyst will support the Systems and Software Solutions (S&SS) Operating Unit within the Airborne Platform Solutions (APS) Business Unit.
The Analyst will interface with the program managers, functional management, cost account managers (CAMs) and business managers to provide financial support and analysis to meet program requirements.
As part of this role the Analyst will analyze cost data to prepare program financial reports for internal and external customers relative to program cost incurrence, material tracking and labor expenses to help ensure program contracts perform within negotiated parameters. They will work cooperatively with business, functional, and technical staff to support cost estimate development, invoicing, customer proposals, negotiations, and various audits.
The Analyst responsibilities include, but are not limited to preparing monthly forecasts, Estimate at Completion (EAC), the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and the Labor Resource Plan for their program. They will support identification and mitigation of program cost and schedule risks.
The Analyst may perform Earned Value Management (EVM) tasks including developing the performance measurement baseline (PMB), forecasting the Estimate at Complete (EAC), controlling change management processes and preparing internal and external status reports.
Basic Qualifications Principal Business Management Analyst (Level 3):
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Accounting, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing, etc.) or Business adjacent degree (Mathematics, Risk Management) from an accredited institution with a minimum of 5 years of financial work experience - OR - a Masters degree as described with 3 year of financial work experience. In lieu of degree 9 years of relevant experience may be considered.
- Basic understanding of Government Compliance.
- 1+ year experience in strong data mining and database management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
- Ability to travel domestically up to 10%.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP, COGNOS, or similar ERP software experience
- Professional experience in Aerospace & Defense, Financial Services, or Telecommunications.
