Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking Schedule Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located at Roy, UT to support the Sentinel program in the SDS Division. This position may be filled at a higher level based on qualifications listed below.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Preparing, developing and coordinating the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to meet all program objectives
- Ensuring program schedules are horizontally and vertically integrated.
- Analyzing and Reviewing Supplier Schedules
- Implementing scheduling best practices as prescribed by industry to include, but not limited to:
- o DCMA 14-point
- o IPMR DI-MGMT-81861
- o Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
- o Critical Path Analysis
- o Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA)
- o Schedule Performance, Health Metrics and Analysis
- o Provides weekly status and reporting
- o Tracking plans and schedules
- o Creating, maintaining and validating Schedule data
- o Performing risk analysis
- o Identifying and resolving critical path and network logic conflicts
- o Utilizing Gantt, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances
Basic Qualifications
This requisition may be filled at either a Schedule Analyst level or Principal Schedule Analyst level
- Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of related professional experience; a Master's degree with 1 year of experience; or 6 years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of degree (Principal level requires a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of related professional experience; a Master's degree with 3 years of experience; or 9 years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of degree)
- Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel
- Experience in MS Project, and/or Schedule Risk Assessment software tools
- US citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret level security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret level security clearance
- Experience in program/project planning and scheduling
- Experience in program/project planning and scheduling, logistics or supply chain
- EVMS experience, Schedule Management
- Experience with Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA)

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80A. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
