SSSD has an opening for a Principal or Senior Principal Manufacturing Program Cost Analyst to join our Business Management team in Redondo Beach, CA.
The Principal or Senior Principal Manufacturing Program Cost Analyst will report to the Manager of Project Control on a restricted program and will be responsible for supporting Northrop Grumman Corporations Strategic Space System programs in compliance with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) requirements and program implementation.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Responsible for interfacing with Cost Account Managers and providing monthly Earned Value Management cost/schedule data for program Cost Performance
- Reporting requirements utilizing the COBRA
- Track budget and resources, update forecasts and prepare analysis
- Reporting variance analysis and preparing cost reviews
- Generate weekly manufacturing reports and publications
- Develop Estimates-at-completes (EAC) Analysis
- Utilize SAP Material Resource Planning (MRP), transaction codes, data field elements and manufacturing business management processes
- Utilize manufacturing execution system as data source for manufacturing earned value
- Preferred candidate will have a Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance or Special Compartmentalized Information Access (SCI)
This position requires the incumbent to possess a Department of Defense (DoD) active Top Secret (TS) security clearance or access to Special Compartmentalized Information (SCI).
This position can be filled at either a level 3 (Principal) or level 4 (Senior Principal) as outlined below in the qualifications.
Level 3 - Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 6 years’ experience business finance or accounting to include program cost control and planning or a Master’s Degree and 4 years of stated experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret (TS) and or Special Compartmentalized Information Access (SCI)
Level 4 - Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years’ experience business finance or accounting to include program cost control and planning or a Master’s Degree and 8 years of stated experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret (TS) and or Special Compartmentalized Information Access (SCI)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
- Proficiency of the following systems or software: COBRA or similar project management software, wInsight, SAP Management Project Systems Module and Business Warehouse (BW)
