Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Business Management Manager 1 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals, this position will be located onsite full-time in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Review, preparation and presentation of Earned Value Measurement System (EVMS) data to internal and external customers, including variance analysis and forecasts
Program resource management, including cost estimation, allocation, tracking, and analysis
Identify funding requirements and consumption
Prepare, review, and present program financials (IF/AOP/PMR) to key OU and BU leadership
Estimate-at-Complete (EAC) preparation and review
Management and development of geographically dispersed Program Control Analyst (PCA) staff
Compliance and contractual reporting to internal and external customers
On-going collaboration with the customer and functional teams
Review of contractual documents, including Technical Instructions
Assistance with change management and Program Directives (PD)
Working with other key functional areas, including but not limited to Global Supply Chain, Contracts, and Pricing.
Support of pricing and proposal activities
This position’s standard work schedule is 9/80A. The 9/80 schedule allows an employee to work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday and take every other Friday off of work.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline with 6 years of experience in Aerospace and Defense -OR- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline with 4 years of experience in Aerospace and Defense
Knowledge in managing multiple contract types (ie. CPAF/CPFF/CR/T&M)
High degree of attention to detail and history of work product integrity
Understanding of DOD contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, and the FAR
Prior experience with customer program budgeting and forecasting, as well as Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) and funding consumption tracking
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, SAP, and Analysis Office
Prior experience preparing and presenting analysis to team, management and customers.
Active Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or CPA certification
Experience in EVMS and general accounting
Previous experience managing/supervising a program, project, or personnel.
Experience with Cobra
Experience with Cognos forecasting system
