We are looking for you to join our Emerging Capabilities Development (ECD) division team as a Business Management Manager 1 based out of Linthicum, MD. This position may be staffed as a hybrid role (2-3 days per week onsite), in accordance with program and reporting needs.
What You’ll get to Do:
The Business Management Manager 1 will support the Tactical Sensing and Survivability (TSS) Operating Unit within the Advanced Missions Business Unit, as well as the Capability Maturation & Deployment (CM&D) portfolio. The Business Management Manager 1 will be responsible for the successful execution of program financial performance, including tracking and management of customer funds, cost performance, and cash management, through ongoing collaboration with customer and functional teams.
Specifically, the Business Management Manager 1 will be responsible for:
- Delivery of predictable financial performance for monthly and quarterly forecasts as well as against annual operating plan targets
- Estimate-at-Complete (EAC) preparation and review
- Support of pricing and proposal activities
- Internal and External support of compliance audits
- Preparation and presentation of financial data to internal and external customers, including variance analysis and forecasts
- Assistance with contract negotiations
- NCTA Management and Reporting
- Management and development of Program Control Analyst (PCA) staff
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Accounting, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing, etc.) or Business adjacent degree (Mathematics, Risk Management) from an accredited institution with a minimum of 6 years of financial work experience – OR -- Master’s degree as described above with 4 years of experience as described above.
- Will consider 10 years of applied experience in lieu of degree requirement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Understanding of DOD contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, and the FAR
- Prior experience with government program budgeting and forecasting, as well as Annual Operating Plan development
- Prior experience in proposal preparation and BOE preparation and evaluations.
- Prior experience preparing and presenting financial analysis to team and/or management.
- The ability to travel domestically 10% of the time
- US Citizenship
- Current, active US Secret level security clearance. Clearance active within the past two years may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or CPA certification
- Experience with EVMS
- Previous experience managing/supervising program, project, or personnel.
