Northrop Grumman is seeking a Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst / Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst (L2/L3) to support the Aerospace Vehicle Equipment (AVE) Segment on Sentinel Program. This position may be filled at a higher level based on qualifications below. This position will be located at our Defense System Sector in Roy, Utah.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Setting up cost control system, monitoring and controlling costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system
- Performing analyses and preparing reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters.
Preparing budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assisting in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.
Preparing program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled.
Monitoring funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures and preparation of expenditure projections.
Monthly material and subcontract financial forecasting.
Participating in month-end financial reporting close activities.
Performing miscellaneous financial analysis including monthly financial reporting/forecasting and monthly EACs
Continually assessing and improving financial reporting processes to enhance efficiencies
Basic Qualifications
This position may be filled at an Analyst level 2 or Principal Analyst level 3
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with 3 years of professional experience -OR - a Master's degree with 1 years of professional experience. An additional 4 years of experience accepted in lieu of a degree. (Principal level requires a bachelors and 6 years; or a Masters and 4 years of experience)
Experience with SAP, SAP Business Warehouse, Deltek Cobra/MPM, MS Project or Schedule Risk Assessment software tools
Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel
US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret level security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Active Secret SCI (SSBI) or DoD Top Secret security clearance
3 years’ experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Program Cost Analysis or Program Scheduling
5+ years of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience.
Proficient in Deltek Cobra, SAP, PowerBI.
Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
Strong analytical ability.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80A. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
