The Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector is a trusted provider of mission-enabling solutions for global security.  Our Engineering and Sciences (E&S) organization pushes the boundaries of innovation, redefines engineering capabilities, and drives advances in various sciences. Our team is chartered with providing the skills, innovative technologies to develop, design, produce and sustain optimized product lines across the sector while providing a decisive advantage to the warfighter. 

The Distributed Sites Camarillo team supports several Airborne Electronic Attack programs across two offices – Camarillo and Pt Mugu. As a Software Engineer for our organization, you will support the Growler Block I and Block II programs including efforts involved in Mission Planning, Tools Development, Software Test and so much more!

The team is looking for you to join our organization as a Software Engineer. While supporting the EA-18G programs, you’ll get to:

  • Develop Software in support of the Operational Flight Program
  • Support Requirements Development and Test
  • Resolve Software and System Defects
  • Collaborate with our customer, internal NG sites and other engineering disciplines
  • Contribute to peer reviews, critical milestone reviews, and technical interchange meetings

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in science, engineering, or related discipline with 2 years of experience; or 0 years of relevant experience with a Masters (MS) degree; An additional 4 years of relevant experience/education can be considered in lieu of a Bachelors Degree
  • Must have experience with a higher order language such as Ada, C/C++, C#, RDBMS, MFS, UML
  • Knowledge of object-oriented development
  • Ability to function as a member of an integrated team
  • Clearance: Must be a US Citizen and must have or be able to obtain an Interim Secret/Secret clearance before you start

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Experience programming with C++ language.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Knowledge of Electronic Warfare
  • Knowledge of Radar, Signal Processing, Advanced Receivers/Transmitters

Salary Range: $82,400 USD - $123,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
