Job Description:

Maintains records of property owned by government, company, and associate contractors in accordance with company procedure or government regulations. Maintains records and logs of property received, transferred, allocated, held and disposed; coordinates property transfers; conducts periodic property inventories; and prepares reports of property status. Drive a manual truck and use a forklift.

Working in a warehouse environment with the involvement in all elements of Property Management relating to the care and control of Government/Customer and Company Property in accordance with applicable regulations (FAR, Contractual) and Company policies to achieve best value and operational excellence from acquisition through disposition.  Primary focus is warehousing, updating property accountability records, storage and maintenance, disposals of Company, scrap sales, and paper record box storage management.  Perform paper record destruction, assist in assessment/surveillance activity relating to data analysis and area audits.  Maintain good working relationships with internal/external customers supporting all requirements and requests

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent and 0 years additional education and/or related experience

  • Ability to drive a forklift

  • Ability to drive a box truck

  • Willingness to get DOT Certification

  • Ability to work well with a team.

  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment up to 50lbs

  • Must be available to work standard 1st shift hours (For example:  6:00am to 3:30pm, overtime as needed.)

  • Detail oriented with the ability to trouble shoot as needed

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook)

  • Self-disciplined, able to work as part of a team or independently as needed.

  • Possesses effective communication skills, and written communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritize and multitask daily workload

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years prior warehousing background related to Government and Company owned property.

  • Familiarity with electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers

  • Experience handling government owned equipment

Salary Range: $32,600 USD - $54,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
