LMDS has an opening for an Administrative Assistant 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Chandler, Arizona. 

This position supports Multiple Launch Vehicle programs and staff in Chandler, AZ. This role will provide administrative support on restricted programs in a fast-paced environment, as well as overall program support coordination, facilities, onboarding and training.

Duties/Responsibilities

-Manage classified conference rooms and Video Teleconference resources.

-Execute administrative tasks for the department.

-Manage and maintain calendars and schedules.

-Support reporting and presentation requirements. Collect and summarize data, prepare draft documents, plan and schedule reviews.

-Coordinate travel arrangements, both Domestic and International, and process expense reports.

-Attend staff meetings, publish agendas and follow up on action items.

-Arrange and execute support for a variety of internal and external on-site meetings.

-Interact with employees, leaders and customers.

-Manage and/or support special projects as assigned.

-Manage and purchase office supplies

Basic Qualifications

-Active Secret Security Clearance needed day one of employment

-High School diploma or equivalent plus 2 years' experience as an administrative assistant or performing administrative related work

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) 

-Proficiency in business or travel expense systems (Concur, Edge, or similar)

-Strong interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills

-Ability to troubleshoot and work with minimal supervision

-Ability to be an exceptional team player, interface well at all levels in the organization

-Ability to be collaborative, proactive, self-motivated, well-organized, detail oriented, and assertive as necessary and able to execute projects and tasks independently

-Ability to protect and maintain confidentiality

-Ability to work a flexible work schedule

-Ability to exercise good judgment while demonstrating flexibility and agility, prioritizing multiple tasks with competing deadlines, managing schedule conflicts, and providing excellent follow-through

-Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.

-U.S. Citizenship Status is required as this position will require the ability to access US Only Data Systems

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience

Salary Range: $36,500 USD - $60,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
