Northrop Grumman Space Systems is looking for a Principal Pricing Analyst at our Chandler, AZ location within our Launch Vehicles (LV) Pricing and Estimating Team.

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Active participation in the preparation of new business cost proposals, change proposals, and task/delivery orders spanning all contract types
  • Support Estimating System compliance for pricing activities including basis of estimate (BOE) reviews, BOE development and proposal efficiencies/quality checks
  • Maintain documentation supporting financial estimates used in the proposal process
  • Manage competing priorities and deadlines by handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Assist in creating and maintenance of Cost Estimating Relationships (CERs) to support proposal efforts.
  • Assist in training personnel in estimating and analysis techniques
  • Communicate effectively and timely with internal customer and team members
  • Be a team player, proactive, and possess excellent problem-solving skills

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline with 5+ years of industry related experience in finance, accounting, or program control, OR a Master's degree and 4+ years of experience
  • Proficiency in pricing and estimating methodologies, quality reviews and compliance requirements relating to developing cost volumes and supporting the Estimating System.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Intermediate Excel, Outlook, and Adobe PDF
  • Ability to obtain and maintain secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing proposals and cost volumes of various contract types
  • Working knowledge of Enterprise Pricing Software (i.e. ProPricer) or other similar software.
  • Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and associated Federal Contracting Regulation
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment
  • Strong analytical skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to organize and present complex information in a concise and organized format
  • Cognos Reports and Costpoint/SAP a plus but not required
  • Prior experience in the aerospace and defense industry

This position’s standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows an employee to work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday and take every other Friday off of work.

Salary Range: $72,400 USD - $108,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
