The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for the design, implementation, and execution of verification test procedures for launch vehicle embedded software, launch support software, simulation software, and test tools. This includes development and management of software requirements, test case design and test procedure development and execution, and analysis and verification of test artifacts.  Other responsibilities will include participation in other software process activities such as peer reviews, integration testing, and configuration management.

Required Education/Experience:

An active security clearance, or the ability to obtain a security clearance is required

- A Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) in Computer Science or Engineering

- Minimum five (5) years of related experience is required

- Recent experience with requirements-based avionics software verification/testing

- Experience with full software life-cycle development

- Experience with CMMI/SEI or equivalent software development process

- Proficiency with Linux and Linux scripting languages (shell, Expect, Python)

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualification for Job Posting:

- Proficiency with hardware/software analysis tools (logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, emulators, etc.)

- Proficiency with MATLAB computing environment and script programming

- Proficiency with Python programming

- Proficiency with Robot Framework test automation

- Familiarity with DOORS Requirement Management System and Rational Synergy & Change

- Familiarity with RTOS and low-level device driver development and verification

- Experience with space craft or launch systems subsystem software verification

Salary Range: $79,700 USD - $119,500 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
