Job Description:

The Principal Configuration Analyst will support all facets of Configuration Management to include:

  • Develop and maintain program configuration management plans.
    • Provide support and guidance to others in the form of representation, training, and assistance involving all CM activity.
    • Responsible for CCB configuration management activities to include meeting organization, invitations, agendas, minutes, action items and follow-up.
    • Responsible for analyzing drawing change requests, understanding the impact to the baseline configuration and next higher assemblies.
    • Develop and maintain the As Designed As Built files.
    • Provide monthly metrics to CM Management and Programs as required.
    • Input and/or verify accurate Configuration Status Accounting.
    • Experience working with ERP, PDM, Microsoft office and other CM tools required to perform the job.

Job Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of CM Functions and the five Principles.
    • CM Planning & Management.
    • Configuration Identification.
    • Configuration Change Management.
    • Configuration Status Accounting.
    • Configuration Verification and Audit.
  • Knowledge of drawing types and engineering drawing practices.
  • Currently hold or have the ability to obtain a secret clearance is required.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus five years of experience
  • Master’s Degree and two year of experience.

Salary Range: $83,000 USD - $108,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
