Northrop Grumman Space Systems is looking for a Finance Manager 2 to support our Chandler, AZ facilities.

Manager 2 (Finance) to lead Business Management activities associated with Supersonic Sea Skimming Targets (SSST), and Zombie Low Cost Targets. This position reports to LV Business Management, and partners with the Program Directors of SSST, and Zombie Low Cost Targets to prioritize requirements and achieve financial goals while ensuring the highest integrity of business processes
Responsibilities include:
• In cooperation and collaboration with the SSST, and Zombie Low Cost Targets Program Offices, lead business management activities associated with two of the operating units at Launch Vehicles.
• The Zombie Low Cost Targets Office interacts with Entities in different time zones. Some availability during “non-business” hours may be required.
• Perform program planning & control oversight that may require full EVMS, and/or other innovative reporting tools and approaches. Ensure customer CDRLs, and all other financial deliverables are timely and accurate. Perform, prepare, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual, financial and risk and opportunity data to all levels of management. Candidate will be expected to provide valuable review, insight, and positions to Business Management, and Program leadership above and beyond simple reporting
• Financial planning and analysis to include Annual Operating Plan / Long Range Strategic Plan development, monthly forecast updates, monthly accounting close process, and variance analysis
• Exhibit a high degree of flexibility on fast changing, fast growing, and high visibility program(s). Create, develop, present, and defend complex What If / Excursion analysis to all levels of management
• Perform strong cash / working capital management
• Lead interface with applicable customers, subcontractors and auditors (internal and external)
• Interface with diverse functional areas to include but not limited to the Program Office, Contracts, Material Controls, Supply Chain Management, Scheduling and Engineering to ensure risks are understood and financial performance is achieved.
• Develop and motivate a productive staff in a team environment with excellent interpersonal, planning, presentation and organizational skills with focused emphasis on continuous process improvement, and professional development of staff
• Support the programs in new business capture strategy, proposal development, and negotiations and assist with contract negotiations as needed to ensure sound business deals within delegated parameters are achieved

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business with a minimum of 7 years applicable experience
• Prior experience establishing, maintaining, and reporting on complex program/contract budgets that may include recurring contract efforts from diverse Government and Commercial customers
• Prior experience performing financial planning and analysis to include Annual Operating Plan development and Strategic Plans. Ability to perform and create What If / Excursion analysis with limited or incomplete information
• Understanding of DoD contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, Commercial contracts, and the FAR/DFAR
• Knowledge of EVMS as applied to major government contracts
• Candidate should be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, and have a high familiarity with TM1, Costpoint, and COBRA
• Proven professional track record, ability to collaborate in a team environment, and demonstrated managerial skills
• Proven ability to develop and retain talent

Preferred Qualifications:
• Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics
• Applicable Master’s Degree, CPA or other advanced credentials
• Comfortable networking and interfacing with employees of other organizations and at higher levels of leadership
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret / Top Secret level security clearance
