Responsibilities: 

  • Supervise 3rd shift Think Film Coating and Growth Departments
  • Oversight of personnel, ensuring the production schedule is executed to play, quality assurance, ensuring established processes are followed, (MPD’s, DOP’s, etc.)
  • 5S / housekeeping and overall effectiveness of shift operations
  • Employee training and process auditing will also be required to support departmental objectives
  • Motivate and engage employees, as well as build trust and confidence among the management team.
  • Partner with other area supervisors, managers, and operations resources to address and solve critical operational and employee performance issues in a timely manner
  • Support and engage the team in efforts to achieve operational metrics and goals, i.e. OTS, CPQ, Continuous Improvement Project execution

Job Specifications:

  • Basic Qualifications:
    • Associate's Degree in a technical or business discipline
    • Strong organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal)
    • Demonstrated leadership behaviors to motivate, engage, and build trust
    • Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office Suite

  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in an engineering, scientific, or related technical field
    • Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing concepts
    • Experience directly supervising a manufacturing operation and personnel
    • Five years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Salary Range: 72800 - 109200

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
