The Associate Electronics Engineer position requires a blend of Hardware and Software skills, experience with DC, Analog, Digital or RF test & measurement equipment, and a hands-on approach to troubleshooting complex electronic systems. One of the unique opportunities that this Engineering position offers is the Engineering work/experience in all disciplines (HW, FW, SW, and system I&T) or an opportunity to work deeply in one area.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Researches, designs, develops, tests and identifies improvements / corrective actions for a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including RF and System Processors along with an assortment of test equipment and associated systems.
- Having experience in programming in C++, National Instruments Labwindows/CVI and/or Labview is a plus.
- Troubleshoot production hardware to determine root cause of failures and identify corrective actions
- Support production floor and test technicians
- Maintain process and procedures in accordance with ISO standards
- Work with suppliers to resolve technical hardware issues
- Hardware integration and test
- Test equipment development
- Design Automated Test Equipment to include creating Hardware and Software
- Create engineering documentation (change notices, parts lists, bills of materials, test reports, test procedures)
Basic Qualifications for Electronics Engineer (Level 1)
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 0 years’ experience
- US citizenship
- Knowledge of general electronic test equipment.
- Knowledge of Basic Electronic Circuit Theory.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to develop/draw schematics.
- Ability to support troubleshooting / anomaly resolution of test set and deliverable hardware.
- Familiarity of Windows.
- Familiarity of Linux.
- Familiarity with MATLAB.
- Familiarity with National Instruments devices and software
