Salary: £56,000 - £70,000

Role clearance type: You must be able to gain and maintain UK Government clearance

Location: Cheltenham.

About Your Opportunity:

Working as a Senior HR Business Partner to a number of internal customer groups, this role provides the opportunity to work at various levels of the organisation and partner senior stakeholders a broad range of HR activities. Your Responsibilities: 

  • Act as the Business Partner to specified business areas which also includes the Cyber & Intelligence team.  Acting as the conduit for the wider HR team, including Talent Acquisition, Talent & Development and HR Operations.
  • Working with the Talent Lead, UK, utilise HR expertise to assist mangers in the identification and planning of the most appropriate employee development interventions, to grow talent in the organisation and achieve business/customer goals. Including Talent Management and Succession Planning.
  • Work with the wider HR Business Partner team to share business knowledge, ensuring consistency in application and identification of focus activities that could impact wider NGUKL.
  • People management responsibility for a Junior HR Business Partner.
  • Undertake and resolve complex employee relations cases, including disciplinaries and grievances

Your Experience:

  • Extensive experience operating as a senior HR professional in a generalist role, particularly supporting organisation development and strategic growth.
  • Experience of working in large matrix organisation, working with multiple client groups across a range of disciplines. Preferably Engineering and Technical based disciplines.
  • Demonstrable experience of building relationships with key stakeholders and successfully executing HR projects.
  • Experienced HRIS user, having run reports, generated dashboards and identified trends in available data.
  • Commercial HR background, with a depth of experience in employee relations.
