Salary: £70,000 to £101,000

Role Clearance Type: DV required but could start on SC

Location:  Hybrid with regular on-site presence in Cheltenham/London and other locations as the business requires.

About Your Opportunity:

As a senior security specialist you will be accountable for leading Security Operations, Cybersecurity, Crisis Management and Business Resiliency within our UK organisation and provide in-region support to our Global Enterprise Security organisation across the wider EMEA region covering multiple business operating units and subsidiaries, as directed by our EMEA Director of Enterprise Services & Corporate Operations with matrixed accountability to our Global Enterprise Industrial Security and Cybersecurity leadership. 

You will lead a team of security professionals driving customer advocacy in delivering effective security shared services working with multiple stakeholders across our regional operating units and locations to meet the evolving business needs.  Security is at the heart of everything we do and you will be responsible for leading security of Northrop Grumman employees, property, programmes and information, ensuring security compliance to company policies and customer regulations.

Your Responsibilities: 

-Leading a multi-disciplined and talented Security team to optimise and scale our regional Security Service operations in an exciting and growing business.

-Ensuring governance to Northrop Grumman and Customer security requirements across multiple locations and varied  statements of work Ensuring on-time delivery to meet business objectives.

- Working collaboratively with our Global Enterprise Security teams to represent our EMEA region in Security Councils ensuring best practices and alignment to business direction and objectives.

- Fostering and enhancing internal and external working relationships and associated security agencies

Your Experience

Extensive experience leading security professionals, preferably in the defence industry, engaging at VP & Director level Proven track record of effective leadership with excellent interpersonal skills across a wide range of stakeholders in direct and matrixed environments ISO27001 experience One or more of the following Security Certifications:

  • CompTIA
  • GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)
  • NIST Cybersecurity Framework (NCSF)
  • Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)
  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
  • Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Certified Protection Professional (CPP)
  • Industrial Security Professional (ISP)

Highly organised with a proven ability to identify and manage risk An engaging can do attitude with exceptional customer orientation and ability to adapt to changing environments
