We are seeking a cleared or clearable Manufacturing Engineer who is self-motivated, energetic with knowledge and experience in Assembly and Production. This role will support on-going programs and rapidly growing business.

The selected candidate will:

- Provide technical direction and support for the assembly production areas

- Design manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for electronic assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling.

- Design the sequence of operations and specifying the procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance

- Requires the ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues and improve/refine existing manufacturing processes for personnel and equipment.

- Be responsible for implementing a continuous improvement program that improves efficiency and affordability, while

incorporating technologies and processes that aligns Manufacturing operations to improving industry standards.

- Inspect the performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.

- Ensure processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.

- Collaborate with multiple functions and managers to achieve program requirements and manufacturing goals.

- Compose process documentation, such as work instructions and will generate spreadsheets to analyze data

Basic Qualification

- BS in an engineering discipline with 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing or quality assurance environment.

- US Citizen and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS clearance is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

- MS in and engineering discipline with 3 years’ experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.

- Active Top Secret clearance

Salary Range: $68,100 USD - $102,100 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
