We are seeking a cleared or clearable Principal Material Planning Control Analyst who is self-motivated, energetic with knowledge and experience in Material Planning. This role will support on-going programs and rapidly growing business. This role is responsible for plans, schedules and managing the efficient movement of material from receiving or inventory to production. Develops raw material requirements and scheduling requirements from engineering specifications and production schedules and plans and manages material movement with purchasing, stock room, and production. May use Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems. May negotiate lead times with suppliers and manage schedules for

timely delivery.

Must have ability to plan, monitor, and coordinate all activity related to establishing appropriate schedules for materials which include both procured items as well as manufactured items necessary to fulfill contractual obligations. Requires basic understanding of bills of materials, structures, and dependencies within a manufacturing environment. Requires

skills and ability to prepare and present data, charts, and status necessary to highlight potential constraints to meeting schedule including material, supplier, or work center concerns. Position requires frequent internal company and external contacts. Skills should include basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Access and experience with an automated system of material requirements planning and control. Experience in a production environment with some background in military type electronics is desired. This position requires frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards. General application of concepts and principles are required.

Basic Qualifications:

- 10 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing, Material Planning or Supply Chain with no degree, 8 years of relevant experience with an Associate Degree, 6 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor Degree, or 4 years of relevant experience with a Master’s Degree

- US Citizen and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking and innovative behaviors in past projects, roles, or experiences

- Working experience with SAP ERP tools

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience using SAP

- Experience in a manufacturing/operations environment

- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in planning, supply chain, or related field

- Active Top Secret Clearance

Salary Range: $69,300 USD - $103,900 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
