Northrop Grumman Mission Systems sector is seeking an Operating Unit Contracts Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.  This position will be located in Cincinnati, OH.  Put your years of experience into a future of excellence.  The Operating Unit Manager, Contracts will provide contractual strategy leadership, as well as manage all contract and property administration efforts for the Xetron Operating Unit within the Intelligence Solutions Business Unit. The Xetron OU has a varied portfolio of contract types, including FFP, CPFF, CPAF, and T&M, for multiple customers to include defense and intelligence agencies. This position reports to the Manager of Contracts for the Intelligence Solutions Business Unit.  Position requires regular interaction with the Operating Unit and Business Unit Leadership.     Roles and Responsibilities: 
    • Developing highly effective client relations
    • Managing the team responsible for the administration of the contracts within the portfolio, and proposal strategy and review. 
    • Review and approval of contractual documents for protection of company’s contractual posture, adherence to company policy, the advise to varies levels of leadership regarding contractual rights and obligations and interpretation of terms and conditions. 
    • Development of contract professionals and represents the Operating Unit externally with our customers on from a contractual relationship.

Basic Qualifications: 
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
• 6+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelors Degree
• Thorough understanding of the requirements of applicable government regulations for contracts
• Proven leadership skills, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to mentor and train assigned staff.
• Strong proposal development skills, solid negotiation skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to deal effectively with competing priorities and deadlines, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
• Must be a team player, independent, proactive, and possess excellent problem solving, communication, and organizational skills. •  Experience in lifecycle management of contracts : Pricing, Proposal, Acquisition Management, Property, Closeout and compliance.•  Active Top Secret Clearance•  Ability to travel

Preferred Qualifications: 
 Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration: • 10+ years relevant experience in acquisition management• Thorough understanding of the requirements of applicable government regulations for government property
• MS/MA/MBA/JD desired • Knowledge and proficiency using SAP• Experience working with DoD and IC Customers. • Current TS/SCI Security Clearance
