Are you ready to put your Managerial Skills to work at Northrop Grumman?  If so, we want you to join Our Team as the Tactical Aircraft Systems Strategic Manager 1 .  This position is located in Clearfield, Utah and is a member of the Tactical Aircraft Systems Operating Unit Leadership Team focused on providing engineering, manufacturing, and field modification support to US Air Force and Navy platforms.  This position provides a career broadening opportunity with responsibilities across all phases of the procurement lifecycle.  We are looking for a force multiplier.

You will be responsible for leading:

• Programs planning efforts and organizational activities.
• Developing information on budget status, workforce level, equipment availability, and other company capabilities.
• Determining customer requirements and translating these requirements into organizational plans.

Specific Duties include:

• Development of long-range objectives and strategic plans by identifying internal and external strategic issues that could affect growth and profitability.
• Scanning the environment for business opportunities, maintaining surveillance over market, and performance of financial and technical analysis of market opportunities.
• Preparation of proposals, recommend financial and nonfinancial strategic objectives and alternatives, and implement and maintain strategic and operational plans.
• Developing and monitoring profitability, productivity, and growth targets.
• Planning and coordinating business reviews, resource allocations, and financial analysis.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience supporting U.S. Government contracts with demonstrated progressive responsibilities year over year.
• Interest and ability to lead cost, schedule, and technical initiatives across diverse focus areas.
• Ability to balance multiple assignments, provide surge capacity when needed, and develop and mature ad-hoc thought pieces.
• Professional communication and presentation skills are a must.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and 9 years’, or Master’s and 7 years’ experience supporting U.S. Government contracts
• Competitive proposal experience in either a technical or business management role.

Salary Range: $93,800 USD - $140,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
