Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Mission Assurance Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located Clearfield, Utah.

As quality engineering auditor, we define and monitor mission assurance program specifications and processes to ensure mission success of programs. We assure quality, risk management, safety, reliability and maintainability of program achievements are in accordance with contractual requirements. We assess program performance and risks, and help to determine resources to ensure contract compliance. Do you enjoy solving problems? Come join our team!

Responsibilities include the following:

·       Program Quality Auditor, responsible to perform internal audits, process observations and area assessments

·       Manage and coordinate non-conformance containment and corrective action implementation activities

·       Lead data collection, analysis, and customer interface

·       Write and manage risk mitigation actions and assuring their implementation.

·       Establish and maintain collaboration partnership across functions and programs, customers, program management, and other support organizations

This role may be filled at an Quality Analyst or Principal Quality Analyst Mission Assurance depending on the qualifications below.

Basic Qualifications:

Quality Analyst:

·       Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of Quality Engineering and or Mission Assurance related work experience; OR a Master's Degree. 11 years’ experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.

·       Active DoD Secret clearance

·       Certified Auditor

 

Principal Quality Analyst:

·       Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of Quality Engineering and or Mission Assurance related work experience; OR a Master's Degree and 3+ years of work experience. 14 years’ experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.

·       Active DoD Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

·       Prior manufacturing experience

·       Knowledge of Root Cause and Corrective Action methods

·       Knowledge of continuous improvement principles

·       Background in Composites

·       Certified Auditor

 

Work schedule:

·       Opening on  A, shift with some overlap of other shifts contingent on audit needs


Salary Range: $58,800 USD - $88,200 USD
Salary Range 2: $72,400 USD - $108,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
