Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking an Industrial Security Analyst 3 supporting our Combat Systems & Mission Readiness division (CSMR).

The Industrial Security Analyst 3 position is tasked to perform day-to-day security activities for the Joint Tactical Ground Station (JTAGS) program located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Security support entails the implementation and compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual, Missile Defense Agency and U.S. Army requirements & regulations, Contract Security Classification Guides and Northrop Grumman Policy and Procedures. The job responsibilities for this position are reliant upon basic experience in all aspects of the following Security disciplines: Personnel Security, Physical Security, Document Control, Operations Security (OPSEC), Industrial Security, and Communications Security (COMSEC)

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of related experience, or 4 years of related experience with a Master's degree
  • Must be a US Citizen and have current and active Secret Security Clearance/with ability to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Possess a thorough understanding and working knowledge of NISPOM, DoDM 5205 series, and ICD security standards as well as OPSEC, personnel, industrial, cyber, physical, Information Security principles
  • Familiarization with issuing and overseeing contracts for facility security
  • Demonstrated positive working relationship with internal and external customers
  • Proficient with NISS, JPAS, EPSQ/e-Qip and SIMs
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion
  • Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • OPSEC program experience
  • COMSEC experience

Salary Range: $76,200 USD - $114,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
