Basic Qualifications:
  • An active Secret clearance is required.
  • 10 Years with Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field (adult education specialty); or 14 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Technical aptitude to become a System Expert in training system production, process and design on the team that develops the training program for the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) system.
  • Previous experience in developing e-learning or simulation systems.
    Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience building interactive training for military C2 applications and simulation programs for a software intensive system.
  • Experience in adult education, SCORM ADL e-learning using Adobe Captivate.
  • Experience on the following tools: Adobe Captivate, Adobe Photo Shop, MS Office Suite and a background in e-learning/web development

Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is looking for you to join our team as a C2BMC Planner Trainer based out of Colorado Springs, CO.
 
What You’ll get to Do:
As member of the Sustainment, Warfighter and Test Functional Area of the Missile Defense National Team for Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) (aka C2BMC NT), this position will develop materials and train the warfighters in the use of the C2BMC system. The candidate will perform the following tasks:
Create training materials (computer-based training, instructor guides, operator manuals, checks on learning).
  • Train the end users in software application operations, and missile defense C2 operations processes for C2BMC.
  • Interface with National Team functional areas to define and implement training plans and materials.
  • Identify and solve training issues.
  • Prepare plans, internal office communications, briefings and training material.
  • Responsible for representing the National Team and C2BMC to the user community, conducting training in the field, and conducting a train-the-trainer program.
  • 10-25% Domestic & International travel required.
