Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Contracts Administrator/Senior Contracts Administrator to join the qualified and diverse individuals of the Tactical Space Systems Division (TSSD) supporting contract negotiations and management of commercial spacecraft contracts.  This position is located in Dulles, Virginia.

The successful candidate will work closely with contracts, business development/sales, program managers, finance, legal and other functional groups.  Experienced contracts professionals will aid the successful candidate in contracts knowledge development and provide counsel and training related to commercial, international and U.S. Government contracts.  Working as a team, we cover a wide range of contractual activities and endeavor to jointly address contracts challenges.  Reasonable work arrangements, including certain time in the office and potential working from home when circumstances permit, are possible for this position.

This position will have a flexible hybrid working schedule.

Position general responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Reviewing and obtaining approval of contractual documents.

  • Maintaining close attention to detail.

  • Bridging contract requirements and program execution

  • Establishing and managing company electronic contractual records.

  • Actively support diversity and inclusion.

  • Commitment to meet customer needs and completion timeframes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years of relevant experience

  • Strong understanding of basic contracting principles.

  • Self-starter, actively pursue problem resolution and obtain needed coordination with stakeholders.

  • Desire to learn, increase knowledge base and gain additional experience.

  • Excellent writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree, law degree or paralegal experience.

  • Solid understanding of commercial agreements/contracts.

  • Solid understanding of FAR/DFARS.

  • Experience negotiating agreements.

  • Familiarity with ITAR and export licensing laws and regulations.

  • Experience reviewing and/or drafting commercial agreements and contracts.

  • Experience with Other Transaction (OT) agreements.

Salary Range: $68,100 USD - $102,100 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
