Northrop Grumman’s Tactical Space division is currently seeking a Principal or Senior Principal Publications Analyst to join our team in our Dulles, VA location. Job Summary Creation of technical illustrations and graphics in conjunction with direct internal customer interaction ensuring on-time delivery of company proposals. Responsible for updating proposal reference manual, creation of posters, signage, brochures and formatting internal customer briefings. Supports new business development by direct involvement in proposal production in response to civil and government Solicitations (i.e., RFPs, RFI, BAAs, etc.).

 

This role requires the person to be onsite in Dulles, VA.

 

Job Duties:

- Proposal lead responsible for on-time production of proposal graphics, creation and quality control of proposal graphics, attending proposal kick-off and daily stand-up meetings, creating art templates per RFP requirements, providing metrics of proposal graphics for future planning, and developing proposal art processes

- Collaborate with off-site departments to develop company standards/formats including proposal art templates, color palette, and guidelines

- Lead, train and mentor others in proper execution of department standards, formats and proposal production procedures

- Update Proposal Reference Manual - Advanced skill in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat) and Microsoft Office Software (Powerpoint and MS Word) - Mentor the proposal operations and graphics support personnel

 

This position may be filled at a level 3 (Principal) or level 4 (Senior Principal) based on the qualifications below.

 

Basic Qualifications for a Principal Level:

- A bachelor's degree from an accredited university and 6 or more years of technical illustration experience in support of technical publications; OR a master’s degree and 4 or more years of technical illustration experience in support of technical publications. Will consider additional experience in lieu of degree.

- Advanced skill in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat), Visio, and Microsoft Office Software (Powerpoint and MS Word)

- Active Top Secret Security Clearance

 

Basic Qualifications for a Sr. Principal Level:

- A bachelor's degree from an accredited university and 10 or more years of technical illustration experience in support of technical publications; OR a master’s degree and 8 or more years of technical illustration experience in support of technical publications. Will consider additional experience in lieu of degree.

Advanced skill in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat), Visio and Microsoft Office Software (Powerpoint and MS Word)

- Active Top Secret Security Clearance


Salary Range: $83,600 USD - $125,400 USD
Salary Range 2: $103,664 USD - $155,496 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
