We have an opening for a Cost Account Manager (CAM) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in the Tactical Space organization. This position will be located in Dulles, VA or Gilbert, AZ. Job Description
In this role you will support the National Security business area as cost account manager (CAM) in the Electrical Engineering Directorate.   Responsibilities:
•    Support initial program baselining efforts and resource loading. Control master schedule and budget for the electrical engineering subsystems
•    Serve as a liaison between electrical engineering and the program financial office
•    Provide oversight for engineering financial control and maintenance support of budgets including EVMS indices and Variance  
•    Lead Internal Baseline Reviews (IBR) to ensure projects have been properly baselined and have low risk of issue during execution
•    Conduct monthly reviews and generate variance reports
•    Support engineering in determining cost and schedule impact of technical changes and / or delays Tags
Space System

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM filed (ideally Electrical Engineering) with 5 yrs. of experience; OR a Master’s degree with 3 yrs. of experience; OR a PhD
  • 2 years or more experience in Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
  • 2 years or more experience managing a multi-discipline team
  • 2 years or more experience managing an engineering budget and schedule
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project
