Explore your future and launch your career today.   Northrop Grumman Space Systems Sector is seeking a Business Management Director 1.   This position will report directly to the Director of Business Management for the Tactical Space Systems Division. The BU Business Management Director will be responsible for all of the business management functions and deliverables for the business unit. This position is located in Dulles, Virginia.     The successful candidate will have experience in large organizations specifically in bid/cost strategy, project planning and control, financial planning and analysis, variance analysis, and staff management experience.   Position responsibilities include: working directly with the BU VP and a geographically dispersed staff on strategy such as investments, bid/cost indirect budgets, etc.; preparation of internal/external financial reports (LRSP, Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cashflow, EACs), indirect rate management, project control, process improvement, and charging practice.  This position will also have proposal development responsibilities.   The Director is responsible for ensuring compliance with all NG policies, internal controls, and disclosed practices.  

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 10 years’ experience with business management including detailed knowledge of pricing and estimating, as well as knowledge of contracts and program business management in the government market
• Minimum 5 years’ management experience of direct reports, and proven ability to lead project teams through to completion
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and associated Federal Contracting Regulations with ability to apply sound judgement to business strategy, contract formation and customer relationships
• Experience with Financial analysis, accounting and finance principals, and internal/ external audit agencies
• Extensive experience with EVMS
• Current and active Top Secret and SCI clearances
