Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Supply Chain Operations Coordinator 2 to join our team of qualified, Diverse individuals. This position will be located in Edwards Airforce Base, CA.

Supports and assists activities within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process. Provides administrative, tactical and execution support in various aspects of the industry standard supply chain business process areas primarily Supply Chain Planning and Supply Chain Sourcing, as well as Supply Chain Business Operations. Supports test program initiatives in addition to Supply Chain processes, specific to full lifecycle inventory accountability of flight test assets, calibration recall and property management oversight per FAR 52.245-1.

This position will be located at Edwards AFB South Base, and will be supporting the Global Hawk Flight Test program(s). The position will be first shift on a 9/80 schedule from 5:30am - 3:00pm. This position is not eligible for telecommute or remote work and will be required to be on-site.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearance at minimum
  • Must be proficient within all Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Outlook)
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs - bend, crawl, stoop, push and lift to deliver services and equipment to shop floor as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active DoD secret clearance with a refresh / update within the last 6 years
  • 2 years of inventory related experience
  • 2 years of experience relating to Microsoft Office applications
  • Inventory database management expertise
  • Excellent communication
  • Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) knowledge/experience specific to 52.245-1

Salary Range: $38,800 USD - $64,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
