Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for an Associate Supply Chain Manufacturing Specialist to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located onsite in El Segundo, California.

Northrop Grumman is seeking qualified and motivated professionals for the role of Supply Chain Manufacturing Specialist with experiences in supply chain management and/or related fields (including business and financial planning, contracts administration, project management, logistics, and manufacturing).

Essential Functions:

  • Providing support to the GSC / Goods Movement organization evaluating material and equipment requirements for assigned suppliers.
  • Understanding the breadth of the supply chain management scope (including materials management, procurement, subcontracts, material finance, and supplier relationship management)
  • Developing, coordinating, and executing monthly material forecast
  • Planning and coordinating supplier requirements
  • Monitoring and establishing material inventory
  • Addressing supplier capacity and/or production issues
  • Evaluating suppliers and noting key performance indicators
  • Candidates must be able to make sound decisions in a timely manner, display strong interpersonal skills, and have an agile perspective of compliance protocol mandated by regulated industry.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • Experience with MS Office using Word, PowerPoint and Excel (Office 365)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Supply Chain process strongly preferred
  • Experience in SAP (MES) (or related)
  • Materials management experience

Salary Range: $56,300 USD - $84,500 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
