Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Manufacturing Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.  This position will be located in El Segundo, CA where technology and teamwork come together.  The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Manufacturing Engineering organization working in a collaborative environment while promoting a positive and proactive teamwork environment.

The selected candidate will support Manufacturing Process Engineering and Standard Tooling teams across multiple programs. We seek Manufacturing Analysts that use a unique skill set and hands-on approach to performing activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including planning, continuous improvement, material management, process optimization and liaison. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Submission and follow-up on rapid request orders (RRO’s) for industrial supplies, generate reports to identify aging tool replacements needed, lead aging tool removal processes, monitor aging checkouts of tools by mechanics and send out appropriate notifications, coordinate new tool deliveries including new consumable delivery system for new areas, communicate with production teams regarding newly designated areas for assets. Support with the ability to set up cutting tools using ZOLLER machines, measure tool geometry and set parameters as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of experience in inventory control and/or manufacturing/production; OR Bachelor’s Degree with 6 years of experience in inventory control and/or manufacturing/production.

  • Ability to navigate MES or similar platform

  • Must have a current and active DoD Secret security clearance with a periodic re-investigation OR an original adjudication date completed within the last 5 years

  • The ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need

  • Must have the ability to work 4/8 schedule (Monday – Friday)

  • Familiar with ZOLLER machine tools / presetter

  • The ability to understand and identify most common aerospace calibrated hand tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Current Special Program access

  • Experience with equipment ordering or goods movement in a manufacturing environment

  • Leadership experience


Salary Range: $83,800 USD - $125,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
