Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Program Integrator and will function as a Facilities Integration POC for the El Segundo site buildings and facilities. The selected candidate will be part of a diverse organization of project integrators within the Program Operations Homeroom. This position is located in El Segundo, CA. Some travel between the Palmdale and San Diego (Rancho Bernardo) sites may be required.

This position will report to the Program Integration Team (PIT). Responsibilities include overseeing and managing the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serving as liaison between project management, planning, project team, internal customers, and site facilities organizations.

In this role, the successful candidate may be responsible for many aspects of Facilities Integration for the program area including:

  • Monitoring an internal facilities ticketing system for any and all facilities issues assigned to that area.
  • Capacity planning, including personnel moves
  • IT coordination, phones, and site facilities coordination
  • External ticketing and capacity system updates
  • Status briefing data collection, charts, and presentations

There is a strong opportunity for periodic Extended Work Weeks as construction and maintenance activities usually take place after core business hours in order to minimize interference with program activities. 

The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Projects range from minor (facilities coordination for minor maintenance) to major (new construction of buildings or spaces), and have high visibility across the program and critical impact to program success.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and 6 years of experience in Project Management, Program Integration/Execution; 4 years with Master's degree
  • Current, active DoD [Top Secret / Secret] Clearance within [4 – TS / 6 - Secret] years of last investigation / adjudication
  • Skilled use of Microsoft Office Products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project)
  • Working knowledge of Project Management principles
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current Special Program Access 
  • Master's Degree
  • Project integration experience
  • Possess the ability to adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment 
  • Be able to organize and execute tasks well and to a level of completion that creates value given vague success criteria 
  • Have a positive attitude and be able to overcome obstacles well 
  • Able to learn new processes and technical information quickly 
  • Excel in an environment with multiple stakeholders giving input into tasks 
  • Have good communication and work well with cross-functional and diverse groups
  • Aerospace and/or Defense Industry Experience

Salary Range: $83,800 USD - $125,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
