Enterprise Services (ES) Material Accounting is seeking a Senior Principal Cost Accountant knowledgeable in Financial & Material Accounting functions and activities.
  • Serve as lead for Material Accounting in providing direction and guidance to team members
  • Serve as lead Material Accountant in representing Material Accounting and interfacing with consultants, customers related to ERP programs and process
  • Serve as lead Material Accountant for audit requests and interfacing with auditors, compliance and process owners
  • This position will interact with various sectors, divisions and technical staff to solve inventory issues.
  • Utilize SAP/BW to perform material costing functions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, corporate policies and procedures, disclosure statements, and government regulations
  • Perform complex analysis and make recommendations in support of sector inventory issues
  • Perform complex functions such as MRP system data maintenance, cost and inventory analysis
  • Provide Material Accounting support for restricted areas
  • Represent Material Accounting in non-recurring initiatives 

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business or related field and 10 years’ related experience; or a Master’s degree with 8 years related experience
  • Understanding of financial statements
  • Knowledge of process controls, business functions, material management and cost transaction systems
  • Experience with SharePoint, Business Warehouse and SAP
  • Ability to obtain a Secret level clearance

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with NGAS costing methods
  • Knowledge of compliance audit standards for MMAS
  • Secret level clearance or higher
