Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Senior Principle Engineer Circuit Design (Power and Control) to join our team of creative and diverse engineers within the Electronics and Payloads directorate. The position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA.
Responsibilities will include:
- Designing, analyzing, and testing high-reliability power and control electronics
- Conduct circuit design, analysis, and simulations
- Perform Hardware testing and validation
- Provide manufacturing test support on deliverable hardware

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technical discipline from an accredited institution. Minimum 9 years related experience with development and delivery of hardware through lifecycle of programs (proposal, architecture, design, production and test); 7 years with Masters; 4 years with PhD.
- Knowledge of designing and testing analog, RF and digital circuits
- Proficiency with PSpice or Simplis/Simetrix or LTSpice and MathCAD
- Active In-Scope SSBI/SCI clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Control Systems or Communications and 5 years of engineering experience in an aerospace environment
- Active SSBI/SCI clearance
- Knowledge of control systems and feedback theory
- Knowledge of Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM) Operation
- Experience with the design and test of phase locked loops, frequency synthesizers, and high speed mixed signal control systems
- Experienced in Earned Value Management Systems
