Northrop Grumman Space Systems Payload and Ground Systems Division in Baltimore, MD is seeking a senior Radar Modeling, Simulation and Analysis (MS&A) Engineer to model radar performance for an Active RF Space program.
This position involves Modeling, Simulation and Analysis (MS&A) of an advanced Active RF sensor system using MATLAB®. The position also includes analyzing data from the integration, test, and calibration of the payload flight hardware and the verification and validation (V&V) of simulation performance against test data. Candidates should be highly motivated developers who can work independently to develop code, document algorithms, and model V&V artifacts in MATLAB.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or Mathematics with 8 years of related experience.
Experience with modeling RADAR processing in MATLAB®
Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with that ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree including electives in radar signal processing
Experience in radar signal processing
Experience integrating and testing of modes/algorithms on RADAR systems
Greater programming experience/expertise in MATLAB®, C/C++, and Python
Experience with development and design of space payloads
Experience with the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
