The Electromechanical Engineer will design and develop wiring harness/cable assembly installations into air vehicles using SAE AS 50881 and proven commercial practices as a guide. Working independently under general supervision and as part of a large multi-disciplined team. You will collaborate with inter-departmental vehicle sub-system departments including aircraft structure, equipment installation, hydraulics, environmental control systems, and manufacturing teams. Facilitating design reviews with key stakeholders to ensure designs meet requirements. Attending internal program, customer and/or supplier technical exchange meetings and/or formal program milestone reviews to provide and/or obtain progress status updates.

These positions may be filled at either the Electromechanical Engineer OR Principal Electromechanical Engineer level.
Basic Qualifications for an Electromechanical Engineer:
Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 2 years of related engineering experience OR a Master’s Degree in a STEM discipline with 0 years of experience.
Experience in a 3D design tool such as NX, Catia V5, or ProE
This position is contingent upon the ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret Clearance, and Contract Award.
Basic Qualifications for a Principal Electromechanical Engineer:
Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 5 years of engineering experience, OR Master’s degree in a STEM discipline AND 3 years of engineering experience, OR PhD in STEM discipline AND 0 years or engineering experience.
Experience in a 3D design tool, preferably NX
This position is contingent upon the ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret Clearance, and Contract Award.
Preferred Qualifications for both levels:
Active Secret clearance
Current/active Special Program Access (PAR/SAP).
Experience with wire harness design and routing principles such as EMI separation, military connectors and backshells, shielding and overbraid, splicing, minimum bend radius, chafe protection, electrical bonding, and grounding.
