Northrop Grumman is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager 3. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel program.
This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
What You’ll Get To Do:
Leads the cable/mechanical box design decisions and to provide technical direction to the Interconnect & Signal Distribution (I&SD) Team.
Leads the I&SD Team on CPLM Product Definition Packages (PDP) releases
Supports Command & Launch (C&L) Management and C&L Chief Engineer in identifying and quantifying risks and blockers
Provides technical direction and support hardware, procurement, and systems engineering teams in the development and documentation of hardware interfaces, analysis, including electrical harness design, mechanical box design, and cable routing design.
Provides I&SD technical oversight and develop creative solutions to resolve issues
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment, address priorities and to clearly delegate tasking
Supports and manages changes as needed for Cost, Schedule, and Statement of work

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM-related field of study from an accredited university with 8 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience
Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain a U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
Minimum of 3 years in a formal lead/management position
1+ years Cost Account Manager and Program Scheduling experience
Experience with Siemens Mentor Capital cable design tool or equivalent
Experience using CPLM for design releases
Ability and willingness to travel 25% of the time
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Master's Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) preferably an Engineering degree
Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an active Special Access Program (SAP)
Familiarity with TEMPEST and EMI requirements and design implementations
Proven performance as an Engineering Leader in all phases of acquisition, design, integration, and execution.
Working knowledge and/or experience across engineering disciplines.
Experience in NX for cable assembly routing or general mechanical design
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with Agile engineering and Jira
