Northrop Grumman Australia partners with the Royal Australian Air Force to provide through-life support for its fleet of C-27J Spartan Battlefield Airlifter aircraft. The C-27J complements the Australian Defence Force’s existing Air Mobility fleet and provides airlift of people, equipment and supplies in Australia and our region.
The C-27J engineering team is now seeking a highly motivated and professional, degree-qualified Mechanical/Structures Engineer to join the C-27J Integrated Support Cell (ISC) embedded with 35 Squadron Headquarters; RAAF Base Amberley, QLD.
Your Role:
As a member of the wider NGA Military Design Organisation, you will provide frontline mechanical/structures design and technical support services. This includes working within the DASR Part 21J regulatory design organisation, developing engineering substantiation reports, compliance documents, test plans and design data and the continuation of technical investigations. You will also support the Continuing Airworthiness Management Services (CAM Services) as required.
To apply, you’ll need a relevant engineering degree (Mechanical) supported by a clear understanding of CASA/DASA/EASA regulations and exposure to Configuration Control and Design Change Management.
