Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a AVE Requirements and Verification (R&V) Manager 2. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
What You’ll Get To Do:
- Provide oversight and guidance for the maintenance of the AVE segment specification and be directly responsible for the segment verification planning and execution
- Provide leadership to the element requirement leads to ensure consistent, quality products, across the AVE
- Cross segment process implementation guidance and support to system level process management
- Responsible CAM for the R&V cost account
- Play a part in one of Northrop Grumman’s keystone programs, the Sentinel InterContinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM), a $13 Billion effort to modernize a key component of our nation’s defense. This role is required throughout the Engineering Manufacturing and Development (EMD) phase of the Sentinel program which is expected to last through CY2028. The individual will play a key role in all phases of AVE development lifecycle.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in STEM and at least 6 years of relevant professional experience including
1+ years leading a project and /or driver performance again schedule
Active DoD Secret Clearance adjudicated in the last 6 years with ability to obtain SAP.
4 years of experience working with requirements development, verification planning, and verification execution across multiple levels of integration and usage of DOORS
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance
- Experience with missile systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate diverse and inclusive teams in a significant leadership role.
- Experience supporting large defense programs
- Experience with CAMEO
- Experience through all phases of the development lifecycle
- NG CAM training and certification
- 1+ years of experience with cost, schedule, program execution; CAM experience desired
