As an integral part of our multi-discipline engineering team in Advanced Weapons, you will be on the forefront of developing next generation solutions to protect technology for our nation’s warfighter.
The ideal candidate will support one of our Advanced Programs as the lead for defining and architecting a secured missile weapon system. This position will require close collaboration with team members of other projects within the organization for security architecture designs as well as external partners and customers.

This Position is onsite in Northridge, CA.
What You'll Get to Do:
Perform logistics engineering activities and assist as a technical resource from a program’s concept and proposal phases through development, test, production, and post-production support phases
Support logistics design influence efforts and activities necessary to meet system performance requirements
Analyze and interpret technical data (e.g., drawings, manuals, specifications, etc.) to develop technical and logistics data
Create/update relevant reports such as task analysis, maintenance plans, or provisioning requirements reports
Perform/develop/update Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)
Develop/execute plans for Technical Publications/training materials
Plan/execute activities that sustain the operation and maintenance of systems to ensure mission readiness
Be an engaged and versatile team member of the Integrated Logistics Support team seeking to continuously improve upon existing practices
Conduct logistics analyses using engineering background, analytical skills and knowledge of a wide array of industry tools
Perform Human Factors analysis on maintenance and operation activities and end items
Develop/update Packaging, Handling, Shipping & Transportation (PHS&T) and Demilitarization plans
Basic Qualifications for a Logistics Systems Engineer:
Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with two years of engineering experience
Experience working on government programs (i.e. Navy, Air Force, etc.)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills and ability to interface directly with internal program office and external customers
Have held a DoD Security Clearance (investigation completed within last 5 years)
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university
Familiar with 12 Elements of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) or life cycle support environments
Experience in military maintenance and sustainment support
Engineering design background generating new designs, models, and drawings
Experience supporting procurement activities to meet demanding build schedules
Understanding of repair level analysis and life cycle cost modeling
Possess active DoD Security Clearance (investigation completed within last 5 years)
