Northrop Grumman Space Systems Payload and Ground Systems Division in Linthicum, MD is seeking a Senior Principal Systems Engineer to update and implement new RADAR data processing algorithms into the existing MATLAB® model, called "System Bench", of our Space Radar Data Processing Element (DPE).
This position is for joining an existing team of System Bench (MATLAB Radar Processing) engineers to support our development, production, and on-orbit Space Radar Payload programs.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or Mathematics with 8 years of related experience or 6 years with a Master's Degree
Experience with modeling RADAR data processing in MATLAB®
Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to maintain SCI approval/access.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree including electives in radar data processing
Experience in radar data processing
Experience integrating and testing of RADAR modes
Greater programming experience/expertise in MATLAB®, C/C++, and Python
Experience with development and operational support of space payloads
