Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is searching for a Software Engineer to join the Command and Control, Communication and Computer Missile Defense (C4MD) Business Unit in support of our programs, in Huntsville, AL.
The selected candidates’ task encompasses the following: develops, documents, and tests networks and systems in collaboration with software engineers. Works with network engineering and CISCO routers and switches.
These positions will be contingent upon funding.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in STEM (and 2 years of relevant experience, or Masters Degree) or additional years of experience in lieu of degree may be considered
- Must be able to obtain Secret Security Clearance
- Experience with Technical Writing
- Experience with Networking
- Experience with CISCO routers and switches
Qualifications that would be nice to have:
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Experience with Air & Missile Defense Command and Control programs such as IBCS, PATRIOT, SENTINEL, C2BMC or THAAD or any sensor/weapon system, Link 16 experience.
- Understanding of all phases of software development, and practical experience in an Agile/Dev*Ops environment
- Security+ certification
